Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

A double stroller is vital if you are expecting twins or have two children who are similar in age. The best ones provide multiple ways for your kids to ride such as side-by-side seating, and a rider board attachment.

The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favorite stroller. It can adapt to the needs of your family seamlessly. It can accommodate two infant car seats as well as an infant seat which makes it a great option for twins starting at birth.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the most suitable twin stroller for families who are looking for a stylish and stylish double side-by-side stroller. It is a little bit bulkier than the other Bugaboo models, but it feels sturdy and built to last. It has a movable handlebar that retracts and extends easily. It also has a fantastic reach, making it easy for my 6'1 husband to push, even when fully loaded.

Seats are spacious, and can be placed in a way that one child is in front of another or so that the children are facing each one. The seats can recline independently of each other. The canopies are big and cover both seat fabrics if desired. They don't have much ventilation which makes them feel like an oven on hot days. They also don't have a peek-aboo window that allows children to peek in.

This stroller comes with an unique feature that allows it to expand with your family. It can be converted from a single seat (Mono Mode) to the double side by side stroller. This is the only double stroller convertible that can do this. It can even be used in conjunction with another car seat or bassinet for babies.

It is easy to navigate on smooth surfaces and handles slopes and steps well. The only downside is that it can be difficult to navigate through crowded shops and restaurants. It is also difficult to fold, especially when seats are attached. It's still pretty compact though, and it is able to fit through most doors easily.

In mono mode, there's a storage bin next to the front seats. This is useful for groceries and other items. The main storage basket under the seats is huge and can accommodate up to 100 lbs. This is more than any other stroller we have listed!

Uppababy Vista v2

This is among the most popular twin strollers for newly newborns. It can be used with a variety of infant car seats and bassinets (adapters are sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller right out of the box. The Vista Upper and Vista Lower adapters allow you to use two infant car seats at once.

The V2 is a more refined version of the original Vista.  double buggy  is now elevated by a half inch, the footrest is larger and the canopy has an extra fabric extension that zips out. Also, the harness has been modernized - it doesn't require changed out, making it simple to adjust.

The stroller is fairly large wheels (8'' in front and 11.5 inches in the back) with a sturdy suspension, so it is able to handle a variety of terrain. The wheels made of rubber on the front are ideal to navigate through rocks and gravel, while the tread on the rear wheels is better for sidewalks and grassy hills.

Another feature that is great is the capability to connect a child's bike to the front of the stroller, which can be an excellent option for those who aren't interested in using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have a child old enough to stand, the Vista stroller can accommodate an additional child using its piggyback board accessory.

Vista is Vista is easy to use and set up, though it can take some time to unpack all of the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there is a YouTube video if you need assistance in understanding the instructions.

Cortina Together

Cortina Together is designed for growing families and offers parents a variety of seating options to accommodate the preferences and needs of each child. The double stroller's two standard seats have reclining backrests and independent canopy. The seats are also designed to accept Chicco's KeyFit or KeyFit 30, the top baby car seat in both the rear and front seat. (Car seat sold separately).

A padded 3-position handle comfortably accommodates mom or dad, and a zippered rear access basket offers plenty of storage space for gear. The tandem  double stroller 's wheels and suspension provide a smooth ride over any terrain, while the 1-touch rear brakes that are linked and have a toe-tap activated make stopping easy.

In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for ease of use. This metric is based upon how easy it is for you to fold and set up the stroller. It also reflects the ease with which it is to open and close the snack trays as well as engage and deengage brakes, lift the stroller when folded and then carry it like the trunk of a car.

We did discover some flaws to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded and is closer to the beast side of our metric than the average for this category of strollers. It also has a limited view when a car seat is placed in the rear. The front tray release isn't always easy to use, particularly after long-term use. Despite these issues, we think that this is a great stroller to have for your family.

Jeep Double Stroller

Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller - a lightweight, affordable stroller ideal for families with 2 children. The front swivel-lock wheels turn to maneuver on flat surfaces, and ensure stability on bumpy surfaces making it easy to get where you want to go. It also has a compact umbrella fold that closes in a matter of seconds and can be set up to make it easy to transport. Its lightweight aluminum frame along with the foam handles and strap for carrying make it one of the easiest-to-lift double strollers that we have tested.

This tandem stroller features reclined seats that can be independently adjusted for maximum comfort. The large canopy provides UPF 50 protection and also comes with a peekaboo view to make it easy for monitoring. We wish the canopy was vented to let in more airflow however. We were not happy that the cup holder is very high up on the frame. You'll need to bend down to reach it.

In our tipping-test it was found that the Jeep was able to tip over at a 39-degree angle, which is more than average for the double pram. It's a little heavier and has more storage space for the price. The seats and handle are also well-padded.

This stroller can be used in three modes it can be used in: wagon (just for things), jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses designed for children) and car seat mode. It can fit one infant car seat, but pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is 6 months old before jogging with them and 1 year old before letting them go on rough terrain. It comes in black and comes with a lifetime warranty.
